Wine and chocolate: the perfect pairing.

Wine and chocolate are a perfect pairing. This is due to the acidity, sweetness, and bitterness of both products. However, wine cannot be paired with just any type of chocolate.

  • Dark chocolate.

Dark chocolate with more than 70% cocoa is recommended due to its bitterness, which pairs well with a toasty, full-bodied wine.

  • Milk chocolate.

To pair milk chocolate correctly, it should be with a fresh and sweet aged red wine.

  • White chocolate.

Given the characteristics of this type of chocolate, it is recommended to pair it with a fruity wine, such as white or rosé.

Therefore, it should be noted that the more cocoa the chocolate contains, the more intense the accompanying wine should be. Check out our products so you can enjoy chocolate with the best combinations!
